Public Financial Management

GRIPS Development Forum has been engaged in a series of research projects including institutions supporting PRSPs, management of aid and development process, the choice of aid modalities. As a part of such endeavour, since last spring (June 2005), we have been organizing a series of seminars on public financial management (PFM) to better understand the actual situations of public administration in developing countries, discuss donorfs approach to effectively supporting PFM, and establish a dynamic network among those who are involved in this issue.

Most of seminars are conducted in Japanese. However, when guest speakers are non-Japanese, seminar is delivered in English. The fourth PFM seminar (9-Dec-2005) is one of examples. For summary reports, please click here (pdf format).
