JVEC Workshop Schedule

JVEC has been upgraded into VDF-Tokyo since September 2004.
JVEC Workshop is basically held on the 3rd Saturday of every month, however, please note that sometimes the date must be shifted to another for some reasons. 
The following schedule is only tentative. Please watch the "status" before you write it down on your agenda! 
JVEC Workshops are open to everyone, not only to the members. Please feel free to write to vngripsnet@grips.ac.jp to participate in our activities. Thank you.
The Workshops are held at GRIPS (Lecture Room G on the 3rd floor) unless otherwise specified.

This GRIPS study was conducted for MPI and the Japanese government to firmly establish infrastructure (one of the growth elements) in CPRGS. It assesses channels, impacts and issues of transport and power investments. This report was presented at the CG in Hanoi, Dec. 2003. Click for more information
Dr. Hisaaki Mitsui (International Development Center of Japan) "Impact Assessment of Transport Infrastructure Projects in Northern Vietnam" (PDF 480KB)

This in-depth study conducted under JBIC analyzes the regional economic impact of Highway no.5 and Hai Phong Port upgrading. It was presented to concerned officials and donors in Hanoi on two occasions. Prof. Tran Van Tho also advised the drafting process.
